A cold wind whipping against you cheeks, the rosey color of your nose
All you have to do is speak and I will save you from the storm.
So many stars in the sky, yet you came crashing overhead,
at what price are these tears when we can laugh and smile instead.
Guilty, dreadful, shameful me what have I become,
Ungrateful heart what have you done.

"at what price are these tears when we can laugh and smile instead"
What a wonderful line. Often we worry and fret, especially in relationships, when we should really be enjoying ourselves and reliving good times, or creating new ones. Unfortunately I think the only person who can save someone from "the storm" is themselves. |
