Exposure
I was exposed before you; my life was unfold
For you, I gave everything I had to give
Now you have left me here in the cold,
Stripped away my happiness and pride,
Into the dark I sit with nowhere to hide,
You have robbed me; you stole a piece of my heart,
You took it away with you, and torn it all apart.
Now I must recover the broken pieces,
I must find my way back to life-
A life without you by my side.

Ouch. Hard stuff. Sorry you had to go through all of that.
My opinion, all works well in this one.
On the spelling, should "my life was unfold" be my life was unfolded" ? |
