Surreal it seems
How quickly I turned the page
How lame the previous one feels
And how deep this one starts.
Surreal it is
How cliché it continues.
The story never told;
Perhaps it actually begins here.
I can not but flash back.
It's not a dejá vu
I have read this before,
So I might know how the plot goes.
But the new character seems honest.
There's interest in his eyes.
Only words are the ones spoken, though
I have yet to read a sign.
Only time will tell,
About this implied feeling.
Only time will tell;
I shall continue reading.
