Give me a microphone
and i'll make a noise
except when witnessed
unless I am drunk
for I can have any home
just one of the boys
i'm not a bit fussed
i'll live from a trunk
you'll want to connect with me
and I will perform
I am a harlequin
you'll believe in me
i'll choose you selectively
you'll think i'm a storm
your knickers fall in the bin
a period of glee
but I am just a season
and you'll realise
the spell will be broken
and you'll let me go
I have no love of reason
i'll easily break ties
no need for words spoken
no roots left to grow

That must be a hard life. I know I would never choose it. Not now anyway. |
