new, new world order

Could it be that the great we
are blamed for credit tragedy?
They set us against the rest of we
“he does much better than me!”.
But all aren't living easily
except for greedy bankers
and those who own oil tankers.

middle class and those above
rub a dub from great big tubs
they're voices are not muted
the poor are always booted
the cost of food and fuel extorts
Georgio Armani tennis shorts
their wearers are immune
but we'll hear from them soon

for breakfast T.V business types
sell capitalism less the gripes
the index is not rising
but futures are hypnotizing
gold is worth so much right now
exchange rates set, cause a great row
exports are the answer
to solve lost jobs disaster

well I say this, so hear me now
no more can come from farmers plough
we all compete for the same meat
every year, more and more feet
the crops price set by world markets
once in 3rd world they now fly jets
once metal, now plastic, no shine
it's only a matter of time
developed world shall quake in shoes
as hungry rivals get their dues.

am I right?
