To look up to the sky
and appreciate it's beauty.
To look into your eyes
and believe you really need me.
I gaze into the ocean
captivated by her depth.
I'm longing for your touch
of which I've long since felt bereft.
Albinoni, sweet Adagio,
slowly still, I'm moved to tears,
Your empty heart beside,
have we wasted all these years?
Magestic wings of prey fly free,
I, too, must let you go.
My sorrow, now my life is gone,
I love you, this you know.....................
