The leaves still fall around us,
I whisper in your ear,
I love you now, then, forever.
All else may disappear.
Our dreams are still so strong,
Our names still carved in wood,
But I see you wander, lonely
In the places I once stood.
Your voice still fills my soul,
Such laughter it still brings.
And I learn the words of songs
You always love to sing.
Our bodies lie entwined,
Your heart beats close to mine.
I don't let go, I hold you still,
I will for all of time.
White waters roared ahead of us,
But now the flowing slows.
I hate to leave you here, my love,
But Reaper's lust...it grows.
My flesh and blood rest deeply,
Your world must start anew,
Your angel, Uncomfortably Feeling,
Wishing I could be with you......
