THE SMALL THINGS IN LIFE

The wind blows, whistles through the trees
The leaves fall gently, daintily
Slowly, bit by bit, one by one, they accumulate.
Smaller, growing larger, larger without ending
‘Til it’s time to gather them up in piles.
Drip drop, drip drop
So goes the water, the giver of life
From droplets to puddles
See it flowing across the streets, spreading to the
riverbanks and the rivers
It’s become so enormous it’s drowning us.
There’s a chill outside, temperature drops
See, look, it’s the small, dainty, carefree snowflake.
Observe how it’s landing on the ground and sticks to it.
Watch as, one, by one, the lovely white, glistening snowflake accumulates on the ground
It’s become dusty snow, growing, becoming inches to feet.
All has stopped.
All from these little, insignificant flakes.
So our lives are in a continuous growth pattern.
Don’t ignore the small, insignificant issues of your life.
The smallest often becomes the biggest.
