Dark precipice,divide,
Filled with assumptions,lies,
Years,fears and obligations,
This construct,this bridge,
Is naught but a gift,
An offering,proffering,redemption,
Embrace this creation,
Engineered from elation,
That reflects,effects these lives,
Wise thoughts conspire with this,
Hope becomes the mistress,
Supposition,definition,blur,
They arrest this spiral,
Of justified denial,
Implying a state,
Where fate resides.

I like it. I'm feeling that the creation itself is skepticism, which is a great tool for human growth and development. Then gazing at another comment someone "Do we not create our own world?" Or quite something to that extent, to which I was thinking in a sense, but in a negative way more than a positive way. We on a regular basis often tend to reflect on life without thinking about what information is truth or fallacies and often neglecting the fact that what we know as reality is different from everyone's own reality, which in turn means they're all false, or all true. Either way we can't ignore each others, and force our own. Sorry for destroying your poem's page with a somewhat lengthy unrelated comment. :( |

There is plenty to explore in this profound and insightful piece of writing and you never fail to captivate the mind of the reader. The lines are well done and a fine write my friend.

This is very fine writing. The poem is thought provoking and flows gently off the page. Like so much of your work, this sets the reader thinking.
Thanks for posting. |

Me thinks you want to believe in something but suspect the authors were ignorant fools. Believing makes you as ignorant. Not believing leaves a hole that cannot be filled by logic.
Or I could be wrong!
good write
