A glass heart
Loves easily
But shatters beyond recognition when broken
A stone heart
Is reluctant to love
But only cracks when broken
Glass hearts
Once healed
May love again
But it's never certain
Stone hearts
Will continue
To love again and again
But one crack too many
Can lead to disaster
So which is better
Glass or stone
Both are good
Both are bad
But neither
Is perfect

I like the comparisons in the poem.
Nothing is ever perfect but everything is always beautiful if seen through the right eyes. This includes the natural imperfections found in both stone and glass :) |

*sigh* if I only had a mix between the two. I once had a glass heart but was left with a shattered one now a mix of gravel. The most saddening thing I can think of is to be told by someone whom you believe is a troubled individual, and is really in dire need of help as they come across like they do, and they say you're the greatest thing to happen in their life for bringing that to them letting you believe it, and then proceeds to find another who doesn't bring the same to the table, but says the same thing about them... it's heart-breaking. |

how intriguing.
both can appear to be beautiful objects.
but in reality, both can be destroyed.
