There’s a man lying in the alley
See him, the scars of times and jitters
of lack of sleep and alcohol withdrawl are on his face,
his soul, with a damaged ego.
He’s a hopeless soul.
There’s a drug addict with marks on his hands and legs. You can see the pain in his face,
and the toll of the spirit of addiction he cannot fight.
A girl is left with a baby, husband leaves her.
See her expression of loneliness and depression.
The eyes tell the story oft these lives.
Look into the eyes of a person: what do you see, feel?
The eyes are the doorway and mirror to our
body’s soul and mind.
The next time you look into a person’s eyes,
remember they tell a story,
a true one for us to behold.
