Strength and Hope

Topic: dedicatedpoems

Words were said that we probably didnt mean

Promises were made that we both wanted and still try to keep

People say, "....happens, life goes on."

But how can you just go on when you don't know where to start?

Since everything happened, I've never felt so alone in my entire life

I was so used to having you around

Having that shoulder to lean on

Having that hand to pull me out

Now that your not around, I'm just trying to cope with life

As always, I still have hope that we'll look back at this and laugh

Cause in my heart you'll always be my one and only best friend:/

I miss you too, stranger.

I like the poem for its simplicity of ideas and its very natural flow.

Keep writing
Peace
Ammar

Isn't it funny how sometimes the most important person in your life can feel like a complete stranger. Beautiful poem. Thank you for sharing...
