Stories to tell.

Emotions shy,
Cannot descry,
What made them rescind,
Each way I try,
My words defy,
Disperse upon the wind.
Discern without fawning,
Concern when yawning,
Tired from sleepful nights,
Emerge in the morning,
Expand with warming,
Yet broken in the light.
Stories to tell,
Heaven and hell,
Only just implied,
Infinite well,
Repeal this spell,
Yield what's Inside.
At once without warning,
Pure thoughts are forming,
Beauty,translucent and bright,
A gift to assuage,
Adrift on this page,
Filled with cunning and slight.

Hi Mat
I can honestly say I never tire of reading your work. This is very well done, I love the rhyming pattern. Amongst your best efforts I think, thanks for sharing. |
