the truth

Contributed by wazarov on Thursday, 24th April 2003 @ 06:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Walking endless miles
to reach your hills beyond the sun
knowing nothing about you
until I saw you around
collecting dust from every ground
trying to hypnotize the days
by dragging the free wind under your shadow

halt,
what is this face of yours?
This is not me of course
hush,
spear me the truth I’m deluded
can’t you hear me everywhere

for that you wish to be heard
let me introduce you to your judges

my lords, my lords
here, before your eyes I bring the lie
to stand in the shadow of your mercy

neurotic as we all are
we are really out of blessings
consumed for the sake of power
rage among these hearts growing sour

it’s all about the sin, life is
it’s all about who’s gonna win
I saw in my dream all the temples
i saw them going out of business
when we announced the funeral of the devil
when we buried satan.
