broken picture

Contributed by youngpoet1989 on Thursday, 24th April 2003 @ 04:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

A picture of you and me I hold in my hand
Suddenly..... my mind stops
I stare at the image of your face
Teardrops run down from my eyes
The picture falls from my hand
glass is shattered on the floor
as I look at our picture
a piece of glass had torn through you
as I look closer I see blood circling the picture
I don't seem to know where the blood came from but it was dripping down from your face
then the phone rings
I heard what happened to you
I fall to the ground shattered in tears
I'm so shocked that you have died.
