insomniac

O mystic night!
You bear the eternal unknown, piercing deep within the world we leave behind.
Holding the locked and bolted doors of shadows.
Not peaceful, not tame, never silent.
Wandering, restless into the mountains of our soul.
Moving yet and never stopping til the inland race is halted.
You rise and tramp amid our dreams.
A movement, steady clearing the oblivious from our heads.
How fresh and clear life is through virgin ways!
Hear the mightier, varied world upheaving!
Yet, has the hour come?
O, mourn and yet exult, for the night has descended and daybreak is urging us to sleep.
