Hear the roaring of the thunder
See the bolts of lightning emanating across the sky.
Bright rays of awesomeness shine from his throne.
Way atop Mount Olympus all the gods
respect the mention of his name.
All bow to his name. All majesty is given to his name.
All power is given to him. At the sound of his voice,
all the gods willingly obey. He’s king of all creation. Come now, Mighty Zeus, show us your wonder and favor. You’re the mightiest among all the gods.
Your splendor is majestic and mighty.
Powerful one, grant us among the gods
your great wisdom and will.
What is it, O great one? We are yours to command. Neptune from the seas,
Mercury your willing messenger to command,
Pegasus ready to fly from your stable.
All belongs to you.
Speak, let us take heed to you, mighty king.
Great omniscient one, we hail thee from atop here
in your majestic kingdom. Speak, Zeus…
