Music has no rhythm,
Base it has no beat,
Illusions… they surround me,
But I won’t admit defeat,
My eyes…they see right through you,
They do not truly see,
My mind it has been captured,
In a cage you cannot see,
Details do evade me,
In this complex… sleepy cage,
It is caring and emotion,
That this cage evades,
These sleepless nights they haunt me,
So cold and so unreal,
I sit awake and pray to god,
Oh please lord… let me feel.
