You have taken the sunshine
and left me the rain
You have taken my heart
and left me the pain
No song birds now greet
my morning sun
For gone now the magic
its all been undone
The man in the moon
has turned off his light
The crickets no longer
serenade through the night
I see the world now
through different eyes
For once in my heart
I believed the lies
that our love was forever,forever to be
But it was only a dream
of castles in the sky
Now I've fallen to the earth
where everything dies
