I want to go please let me,
Its normal can’t you see,
Her mother lets her all the time,
So why won’t you let me.
Everybody’s doing it,
It’s really no big deal,
Your stuck back in the old days,
You don’t care how I feel.
I told you where I’m going,
You just don’t understand,
I won’t be gone for long mom,
Trust me I’ll be grand.
I’m in a bit of trouble mom,
But how was I to know,
I was just there at the wrong time,
Why did you let me go

Great poem. I enjoyed it. Funny in a way specially the last verse. A universal issue is presented beautifully in a poem.
With Luv
