I bought you a card.

But mere words can not express how I feel.
No sentence or paragraph is sufficient to summarize my love.

I purchased chocolates.

Yet found none as sweet as you.
No fondant which filled their shells shall ever surpass your core.

I obtained a rose.

But it was not as delicate or beautiful.
In comparison, it was but a weed.

I procured a diamond.

Yet it wasn't as radiant or as valuable.
Even it's clarity could not make clear my love for you.
