Once I approached the bench I realized I'm not your cup of tea
Trying to exploit my secrets and make an entire fool of me
Although I find it entertaining how you try tripping me up
Of course my testimony is fool proof and you figure that out
How can you love such a man is what you're asking me
You say I need to open up my eyes and see what's blinding me
And even though I may feel insecure
I have the answers right within me and need someone to pull them out of me
Now if you think the verdict's gonna change because of what you say
You'll find that you and reality collide like night and day
So once my plea of being innocent is fulfilled
I'll be the one to rejoice in my victory within this fine mystery
