Stow away your tears my child
They’re memories all the same
You never have to win or lose
If you don’t play the game
And when you smile
You will think of me instead
To find your way when you get lost
I’m always in your head
I’m always in your sunshine
The truth becomes so clear
For still this earth keeps turning
To whisper in your ear
Will you follow all the way?
Even in your darkest hour?
As the sun shines through the day
And their love has left you sour
Take my hands and go
My child run away with me
And in your heart you’ll smile
Even if I’m just a dream
And don’t forget to still remember
For memories never die
They float onto forever
So you can never say goodbye
I’m always smiling with you
My tears become your own
And I’ll always understand you
For all you’ve ever known
