Holding purgatory in one hand,
And salvation in the other,
Watching her feelings pass,
As he becomes my lover’s lover,
Holding just a thread,
Is still holding on,
Fading away… I will watch,
Until the day it is gone,
Walking the path of vengeance,
Head low… thoughts held within,
destroyed from inside … but soon they will pay,
Smoldering rage… love spread so thin,
Release all the pain… revenge it begins.

| Nice one. I definitely relate to the feelings of wanting to get revenge and it makes for great poems. I've been there, been tempted but then I figure, alas, karma will kick in...sooner or later. But again, makes a great poem...or story. |
