Today is just another day, just another page in your diary ..
The pen, struggles to lie of the love it knows and what is ordinary ..
The leaf, scarred and helpless, I watched my heart follow the same pattern ..
You hurt me, but I deserved it, I'm the one who walked away ..
As I stray far from you, destination unknown, another leaf you turn ..
And I gather the shreds of our story to burn in dismay ..
These words hold my all, the ink endless, so is my tears ..
But in a way or another the love dies, and we end ..
We end before we even start, because I can't fight my fears ..
I apologize sincerely, dear diary, I hope I'm still a friend ..
