A most limpid countenance
Downcast and adrift
Set me to reckon
What may be amiss
Arid, creased lips
Bare and concealed
Still comely in feature
Did little reveal
Such a shallow complexion
Taxed and beaten
Is a carapace of pity
Coupling ache with each season
Ascending gaze, there!
Exchange withering glance for sympathy's stare.
What exactness, your eyes
Grievous and dismal
Hold my interests at apex
Though reason be futile.

In all honesty, I'm seeing a dry chapped face. Possibly an elderly person. Other than that, it's losing me with how intricate the gazing is. I'm guessing you happen to notice these "dry chapped" people, and feel a sense of pity, as you look them in the eye, but it was in entirety pointless to feel that pity, since when you leave your gaze they matter not anymore. |

And when you notice don't forget to
wipe the drool from your chin...
(did I read a little to deep?) Me... |
