Come let me take you back into times past.
Where love, peace, flowers, harmony, rock music,
long hair, and groovy brownies were all for the taking.
Let your mind take you back, where it all began.
Sense, smell the sweet aroma of incense burning as
you trip on your psychedelic lights and dreams.
“Peace Not War!” pervades the hearts of the
people with peace signs.
Bellbottoms, Nehru jackets were in fashion.
Come, feel this generation of mine
Where all is love and peace and flowers you will wear.
Capture it, it’s unique, it’s all for your to partake.
Come into my house, the tie dye, love beads,
hang on the wall color posters of concerts of the day,
along with lava lamps.
It’s special, and a rare place in time.
It’s different.
It’s My Generation.

Wow u describe it like I remember hearing it on radios and tv.
Being a country gal in Southeast Arkansas, I've grew up quietly but the music was on.
I just, this year realized I'm a baby boomer.
All you write is interesting to read, in other words your writing rocks.
