Cant You See. I Am Not Blind!

Tell me I am wrong. I Will accept it. In my years apart.
Now tell me wrong but I don’t quite think
That you both understand
I feel the need to tell you
I am still on this land.
I’ve not been blinded by this magnificent love
I can see clear reality
I can cope with or without him
But he makes everything so happy.
It sounds love sick and silly
I’m sure you could say this is just a teenage dream
But I pray to god every night
That in 50 years’ time “WE” will be seen.
Things go wrong and my trust plummets
but I never trusted anyone else
My family is the only exception
And now is he and his heart of wealth.
I know you say you don’t care about the exams
I know, sometimes I say I do
But all I really care about
Is my girl, my family now him too.
I’m almost certain you would rather I found a lawyer
Someone of class and posh uproar
But those people, are not my people
My people didn’t exist in this disgusting world.
But it seems to be I am proven wrong
And there’s more than just existing
There is love from someone, not your family
And now I feel, I am living.
Throw this in my face if it doesn’t work out
Tell me I was stupid and wrong
Tell me everyone else was right
And that they knew all along
But until we both become apart
Which I hope will never succeed
Then please, please, don’t tear us apart
Each others company isn’t greed.
I could spend each waken minute around him
I could sleep with him until I did die
because I feel safe and protected
Unlike around my other side.
When I’m with you all
I feel, know I’m the strongest here
If we become attacked alone, I’ll have to save us
That is my main devils fear.
It sounds stupid ok, I know it does
Just read and understand
That I’m safe and under his protection
When we are hand in hand.
Tears will fall of course
it’s the loved ones we hurt
We will treat each other like kings and queens
Then treat each other like dirt.
But everything is the way life goes
And I believe god will guide me right
he will take me out of any dark patches
And show me towards the light.
So it’s just a poem to trying and get through
I’m not stupid, nor am I blind
I am still her, always will be, whatever
I am one of a kind.
