A Geography of My Moods

I am the waterfall,
roaring, powerful and gushing
in pure deafening majesty
spraying gusts of joy and ingenuity in all directions
I'll flow through prisms of light and continents of wonder
as I cascade towards infinity,
a crescendo of might to drown out all doubt.
Suddenly but surely,
I hit those pebbles
thud, thud, thud
those solid sounds
that do not penetrate the water
it's like walking around blindfolded,
or covering your ears to hear muffled tones
Yes, they are talking alright,
of a heaviness that is deepening the plunge pool
made by the forceful jets of water
I want so much to rage
I want so much to flow
I want to break through valleys and gorges
and gasp for breath
but I am a plunge pool.

Great and powerful imagination. The way you have associated moods, aspirations and boundaries with the nature of a waterfall was super.
