His torn grace looks back with a shiver,
Blind silence denies this,
This island is now his,
Secure and shameless,
Ancient but faithless,
Broken promises and pledges,
Conspire to break his,
Staunch morality,
Naive empathy,
Illusion,
Delusion,
Deranged.
