I drunk myself high and said goodbye

Contributed by scottstone on Sunday, 6th February 2011 @ 02:04:06 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Those days I realize I知 alone
Are the ones I feel like getting stoned
I load the bowl
I give my flame a twirl

And as I take another hit
I知 getting closer to forget
My broken heart
Thanks for nothing girl

I gave you everything you thought you壇 need
But at least I知 glad I saved this bag of weed
So load another bowl and take a toke
And I値l let those memories of you go up in smoke

And it痴 those days you left me thinking
Are the days I feel like drinking
So I値l pop a top
I've got a thirsty heart to quench

Jack Daniels seems to quench the drought
When he brings his friend Sam Adams out
Because alcohol and weed helps win the fight
Slim chance I知 going to be dreaming of her tonight

Good write nice flow and a subject I can relate, although it's easy to reach a stage where the Intoxicants become the norm.
'...the drugs don't work,
They just make it worse...' The verve.

I find that anger is a better substitute. At least it gives me a drive.
