Brief Relief

Contributed by CrimsonTears on Saturday, 5th February 2011 @ 09:16:35 PM in AEST
Topic: self-harmpoetry

I wish I knew why I feel sad all the time
I am so broken inside it even hurts to breathe
Sometimes I can’t stop the tears from falling
It’s not so long before I hear my blade calling

I tear into my skin over and over again
The blood begins to bubble from the wounds
For some reason I don’t want to stop bleeding
It’s like my insides are begging and pleading

From the incisions the sorrow leaks out
I can finally breathe without my chest aching
Even if it’s only for a brief amount of time
The feeling of relief is so very sublime

truely the testament of a tortured soul. An insight into your life, and an unfortunate first meeting. I wish we knew eahc other under different circumstances. There are so many people who ahve so much to offer us. Instead of opening your skin, open your heart. Let your self be loved and above all, make sure you smile everyday, even if you ahve to force it even if you ahve to fake it

This pain doesn't come from your skin, it in fact comes from your heart. I wish I knew you as well, and that things were different. No matter what the world tells you, you are worth being loved, you don't have to hurt anymore if you don't want to. Find someone, anyone, to just give you a hug, if you have a family member that cares at all about you, give them a hug. Whether you believe he's real or not, it wouldn't hurt to ask God for a little help, the bible says he loves you enough that he wouldn't want this pain for your life at all.
