Lonely Hearts Club

I thought of writing a poem about lost love, being single, valentines and being in love
I found that one poem wouldn’t justify this weighty subject
So here are some poems for your delectation, enjoy
From the Lonely Hearts Club

What is love?

What is love?
A question for the ages
Is it romantic entanglement?
The euphoria of joining the couples club?
Walking hand in hand, smiling to one another, contentment?

The realism that without love, the world wouldn’t survive?
The receiving of affection or gifts?
Or just liking stuff with a passion?
Maybe a word used to get what you want?

What love is can not be explained it just is what it is
Different for all but fundamentally the same
So just love and be loved
