I feel sorry for you
I came across you when we were young
You were messed up just as bad as I
Yet fearful to unleash the reality
And I sank like stone
Until I was rubbed raw by the sands of time
I have reached land, oh thank you, I have reached land
So I have become one of a million still tainted
Never polished smooth
But the shore is my home, now
Though I struggle to stay where I'm at
Let alone move onward, inland to safety and happiness
And I feel sorry for you
For you have just sank, despite my warnings
Despite what you saw happen to me
I can't save you, I know not how to
I'm fearful to fall; I have yet to grow
And I can't chance being worn down more
For then I would die
And I feel so sorry I can't help but to remind you of me
I can't help except to tell you what you had told me
So this knowledge you retain inside yourself
Listen to your words through mine, learn from me what you taught
Find land, don't lose yourself
And I feel sorry for you
I blame myself for your self destruction

This is a lovely written and very touching poem.
Im sure you are not to blame. A person can only save themselves from being drowned.
I feel the same way about certain things, as this poem puts across more vividly. Been there, Done That, The T-shirt is filthy. Don't do it. X X
