You were once a stranger
A place I thought I couldn't stay in for much longer
I thought about the memories you'd offer
And if you can be a possibly be a life changer
You lead me to a school
A school so simple
I'd have to admit, there was more bad than good examples
How the world is when I'm wide awake is no longer a fantasy
You, a stranger, showed me reality
Years passed by, we suddenly became friends
You introduced me to a wonderful world
A world full of people that care
Full of people to cherish
And not a single moment to spare
Having you by my side, sure was a fetish
I've learned to know a lot of people
A lot of places
And a lot of experience
But most of all, I learned to know who I truly am
Leaving you was one sick scam
But I thank you for letting me stay
And all the lessons and morals you've taught, know I'd never dismay
From the famous Main Ave. that I've endlessly roamed
I miss you Clifton;
Thank You For Giving Me A Home
