MEssin' with the snakes of AMERICA

Contributed by kleetas on Friday, 28th January 2011 @ 08:55:37 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

This is not a prophsey oh yes it is NOT BOUND BY THEE

I speak to all though they not hear I speak of inner wisdom ,queer

Whose powers quell

Our inner wisdom whose powers quell whose inner wisdom powers swell

A slip of the tongue To stick out and taunt

This my dilemma, My political haunt

Prophesy, prophesy like twenty-twelve dudes

I speak in the real world Your comprehension too crude

I draw on the parchment I Scrawl on the shale

My Headlines erasure By morning times pale

Look to the heavens for first fatal flaw

Eradicate mysteries whose engines won't stall

They chug up the coastline And make every port

Blasphemous rumours bout king's and court

The majic like locusts it writhes and it spreads

Covering wastelands that soon will be dead

The centuries burn and erode away doubt

The last human standing a mother without

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
