Topic: Tributes

When the world turns black
and everyone is against me,
and everything annoys me,
there is one thing
that keeps me sane.

His voice-
so unique, so troubled,
so seductive.
His words, his lyrics,
soar through my ears
and connect with my heart.

Everyone is bickering,
no one is happy,
so all I do
is throw in the CD
with that wickedly lovable boy,
and listen to his words.

The anger and resentment
soon starts to fade,
just another song or two,
and everything will be okay.

Heartbeat slowing down,
mind clearing,
it's worked once again.

When I'm hurt,
and need comfort,
the one thing
that will never fail
is listening to his wonderful voice.
