What am I waiting for?
I thought I knew better
Never stop moving, there's still more to see
But something... surely something, keeps me here.
Locked in to perpetual unemotion
A buffer stalls the blood welling up
My hands forge imitations of the past
Retracing my steps I go wrong again
Till truth, through seeking, dissipates
And stings the seeker's eyes
A thousand mirrors fade into the sun
And naught at all remains but fear
What do I fear?
I think I wish I knew
I think perhaps it's nothing
I wish it weren't true
At least I'd know I were alive
if I were scared like you
The only thing to fear, I fear
Is fearlessness itself
My greatest motivator
Lies forgotten on the shelf
Waiting for the time when my
Thoughts have finished twirling, when they
Surrender and settle in the dust at
Rest between the spiral contours of reason where
A false horizon
Blends towards infinity
Polarized in verse
By pale hopes and muted, faithless leaps
Into

"Locked in to perpetual unemotion"
What a great line!
The entire poem had a very good flow. The third stanza espeically was very apt for a song. Had such great rhythm. Reminded me of a song called "stop the music"by scribe. Those beats would go great with that stanza. Over all very decriptive and imaginative. A very abstract feel to it. |

the title gave it away..the ending spirelled into the abyss of circuitous human logic..step beyond abstraction to appreciate the true scope of comprehension..beyond our 3 rd dimension to higher realms of enlightenment ..say @THE 4TH dimension and the 5th..hell try all twelve!..Groovy writing.baybee....yeah funny..you said "fractal"..which is a "ginchey" word these days .but thanatosis sounds like my grand-niece saying a thalium-particle-stuck in her baby sisters ear?just guessing?..hwahahha.ha.. |

A highly imaginative piece of work laced in intellect. Your lines are awesome and you can't help but enjoy this because it truly is a fine piece of work. It was a pleasure
