What do we do, living in a generation so comfortable with lies?
We push through, find the truth, then come out smarter and wise.
Where do we turn, when there's no one left to believe in?
We turn to ourselves, find our inner strength, only then do we truly win.
This world will chew you up, then spit you back out,
at times you may lose hope, and fill yourself with doubt.
Just realize someone out there has faith in you,
find your way through the darkness of society, and achieve the dreams you strive to pursue.
All you need is your own peace of mind,
then later you can look back and be able to say, "I shined."
