Move on

The testing times are now gone
It is rather the moment you move on
Things would recover steady and fast
If you only decide to let go of the past
There was the storm that brought much pain
But now it’s just this gentle rain,
Look at the good that still surrounds you;
The blessings you have can never be few
There will now be a new sunrise;
It is about time that you realize
Whatever’s gone can’t be brought back
Yet nothing worthwhile does the future lack
Life experiences both highs and lows -
Follow this golden rule you must know:
‘Live like this day’s your last’
You have this world, and the world is vast

'Move on' is another beautiful poem of yours, Ammar. No doubt about it. Its message is clear and profound -- and you tell it in an eloquent and -- it seems -- effortless way. For some of us -- to 'move on' -- is not so easy. Yet it helps when we are lifted up by a poem like yours. It is a balloon. I see it in the distant sky... Yes, sir, it's there all right...
Thanks for the lift.
