A BEAUTIFUL MIND

Topic: selfstruggles

I have a Beautiful Mind like Russell Crowe
When the music beats fast I hear it slow
I stay high all the time that’s how I cope
I let Obama be the one to cling to hope
I don’t have stage presence that’s why I choke
I waste my money on women that’s why I’m broke
You want to hate on me go ahead and gloat
I’ll be your black sheep and your scapegoat
I hear words all the time but where are the voices
I write down my mistakes and all my crap choices
So what can I really bring to the table
When my mind is so completely unstable
Why hit me with a script of Zoloft or Prozac
When I can self medicate with a bottle of Jack
Yea my mind is beautiful yet out of control
Should I come full circle; sell the devil my soul
Yet all principalities from me depart
Cause you can’t believe with a skeptic heart
I fear neither Most High nor the Devil
The blunt and booze just keep me level
I’m high then I’m low cause I’m manic depressive
And these words in my head just make me obsessive
Yet in time true peace no doubt I’ll find
Till then I’ll suffer with a beautiful mind!
