As I stand before this mirror,
my reflection staring back,
I realize that I am.
I am my parents, from whom I was conceived.
A product of my environment, and all that I perceived.
I am words which were spoken, and deeds that were done.
I am struggles lost, and struggles won.
I am a heart of emotions, and a mind of thoughts.
I am a lesson learned, and a lesson untaught.
I am the result of smiles, and the sum of tears.
I am the conception of securities, and the spawn of fears.
I am moments of pride, and instants of shame.
The fulfillment of happiness, and the aftermath of pain.
I am my silence, and I am my voice.
I am by circumstance, and I am by choice.
Composed of my failures, as well as my success.
I am, at my worse. I am, at my best.
I am a collage, a complex collection.
I am, imperfect perfection.

| Great writing, really enjoyed this, a comfy armchair of understanding, a great insight into individual complexity and then aptly given the label of inspiration as it is from great understanding and insight that we are enabled to move forward. |
