I Tried

Adrinalin,
Mistified faces,
Brutal mental breakdowns,
I turn to face the wind
as I attempt to fight the tears i can feel building.
Feeling my skin part from my clenched fists,
hearign the dry leaves bang against one another,
I deny all memories of you.
I tried,
But tis impossible,
for you see
You were the air I breathed,
The sun rays that gently woke me.
And thus,
I look down at my black nails
Regretting every smile I made
It only makes my emotions worse.
Knowing that I once was okay...
I didn't need doctors,
Twas only you and I,
Brother and sister; two cousins,
Living life and tihnking..
Everything would be fine.
I was wrong.
