You're the ink to my pen
You're the reason why blood flows through my veins
There is no kryptonite to you, and I'm no superman
Still you stick by me, as if I'm part of you
But you're a part of me, without being kin, you're family
So close to my heart you have shared my pain, and shared my joy
And became more than just "a part of me," you became
Ma joie de vivre, my love, and inevitably my world.
