Still searching for a moment of honesty
Just that one moment when someone owns up, in love and care
For everything and everyone that makes their inner bliss
With disregard to ugly pretenses that pulls its mottled rug over
Not to distort beautiful moments in truth on tiptoes that gets swept under
Hey life, you must be crazy when a beautiful mind gets called crazed
When you forget moments sanctioned under the purity of being
Tossed aside in a second’s disregard when you join the masses
Forgetting a hundred moments that holds your life together
In sacred embraces that surpassed the once disarrayed
In loneliness that spilled over a million of your silent questions
In search of a self that got lost and buried under everyone’s use
How do you forget that easy? how do you become so common?
When what life dished out was anything but the usual dole?
Did you not experience the divinity of the sacred in us?
And you yet walk among the hypocrites of everyday
When those shrill brains raise their staccato thoughts
As I see you settle in on life’s ruse, I see you home in
From far away places that you once fled from
Well, join in now, as another one bites the dust…call me crazed…
