Your heart is a song
your voice, the strings that carry melody
your smile, my soul's release
into caverns of emotion
unchained to any thought
beholden only unto this one fragment of time
Sinking deep into the pleasure of present memory
frees the mind
and steers clear of apprehension
I will not own grief
for wanting to hold and be held
by you ~
