lost friend

Contributed by spooky on Sunday, 9th January 2011 @ 02:25:41 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

time had taken you away,
parents that would disagree on what we felt,
those were ours to share,
but they took everything away,

we never spoke, nor ever seen
what we truely felt or needed to share,
e would search but to never find.
now we have and life would take it toll on you,

not knowing if you would live to see tomorrow,
or to see your grand children grow,
to see the joy that was give to them by you,
but tomorrow is another day to enjoy,

we wanted to have, but now we have friendship,
we found each other once again,
and now we share memories,
we laugh, and we cry, but we are there for each other
for it's another day to live,

cherish each day like it's your last
cherish the talks that we share,
remember what we did as kids
remember the kindness that was given,
remember the love that we shared
remember me always for I will always be your friend,

craig

Hey spook, how ya doing? :)

A warm and enchanting write worthy of the beauty that surrounds
it. There is a peace in here that all should find. Friendhship is
truly a great gift and a thing to cherish. Lovely write.
