The Things We Say
On Those Summer Days
Are Nothing But Fantasies
As Every Word
Lacks All Truth
Only Pain In Their Wake.
Just Stupid Lies, Told At Times
When Everything Seems So Right
But Give It Time
And You Will See
The Words Crumble At Your Feet.
Blind No More
See The Lies
That Once You Could Not See
The Words We Think We Mean The Most
Become The Ones That Hurt Us All

| Very poignant write about the words we use .....blind no more see the lies.....the ones that hurt us all, I can see a message but maybe more importantly a challenge to think about what we say,its meaning and the effect it has on others. well written. |

There is a profound truth in this.
We are doomed to live the words we utter, it seems. So sad that so
many do not use proper filtering when allowing words to leave
the mind and breathe the crowded air. Sad, because words can
wound as easily as a sword. Maybe moreso.
Pensive and deeply moving.
