Suicide
Part 2: The Aftermath
A cold lifeless body found on the floor,
Someone’s daughter, she is no more.
Taken long before her time,
The reason to why is hard to find.
Devastated are her family and friends,
What was the message she tried to send?
Gone is her life, her hopes and dreams,
For no good reason for what it seems.
Her contributions to the world we’ll never see,
What she could have become will never be.
She’s just another name on the obituary line,
Another statistic of the sign of the times.
This poem was written not to glamorize suicide, to the contraire,
it is a look inside the aftermath of this tragic event. Its intention is to
look how such an action effects the family and the world.

I have to say although i like the first one better ...I really liked this one too...who ever reads this i think they will realize how much just one person has to offer...and how combined they create the world...and when a person does something so devasting...like commits suicide...its like a puzzle missing a piece...and without that piece...the puzzle isn't whole any more ..and it never will be |
