Peace of mind.

I always thought I'd struggle,
Looking for something I'd never find,
But now here I am,
Proudly holding my peace of mind,
I don't need to be so mad at you,
Or wish you the worst,
I don't even think about you,
'Cause I think about myself first,
I no longer hang my head as I walk,
When I look in the mirror I smile,
I can accept myself for who I am,
And I'm the best I've been for a while,
I don't worry about what others think,
Or what they have to say,
I can handle any issues,
Because I know it will be okay,
So I guess, looking back,
Everything you put me through was good,
Because now I feel a happiness,
That I know you never could.

I really like the positive talk in this, especially the ending. I think sometimes the bad things and people we meet, help us become better in some shape or form, as you have shown here. I hope you're doing good!
